NOTICE OF PROPERTY TAX DECREASE The Lamar County Schools Board of Education has tentatively adopted a millage rate which will require a decrease in property tax by 1.301% All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax millage rollback at the Lamar County Board of Education Office, 100 Victory Lane, Barnesville GA on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 5:00 pm. The tentative decrease will result in a millage rate of 12.699, a decrease of 1.301 mills.
